The City of Los Angeles has sharply limited the number of Type 10 storefront retail/delivery licenses it issues, and general applications for new Retail Storefront licenses have effectively been closed to all new applicants.             2.         Relocation via Modification – a modification application jointly is filed with the entity substitution referenced above with the City of Los Angeles to relocate the license to the buyer’s chosen address.

Because the license has never operated, the buyer takes on a clean slate with no legacy compliance issues, back taxes, or operational baggage tied to the license.
