In these tough economic times, more people are purchasing used vehicles then ever before. I guess I didn't realize the amount of time that is needed to get this shop up and running. It also has it's own website (3rdavenueauto.com) This business is creating too much friction within my family. I am missing too many little league games, too many dance competitions and girls softball games. I have a year and a half left on my lease. Owner will extend lease to qualified person. Rent is only $500.00 per month .Shop area has two bays for working on cars. It is properly zoned, so you can repair car cars for the public.
Business location: I am located on what has to be the busiest corner in town. Without exaggeration WE have 5000 vehicles go past the dealership every day.
Business competition: There are used car dealers in town but no one specializes in vehicles under $5000. There are also 3 new car dealerships in town, that also sell used cars. but again, all there used inventory is around $10,000
Business opportunities: I have been here for less then a year, and already I see people liking the idea of inexpensive yet reliable transportation. We have a Community College in town. We also have Lennox furnaces and air conditioners (factory) Fisher control WE also have our own website 3rdavenueauto.com the sophomore class at our local High School will all be looking for vehicles this July, August or so. There is plenty of room for growth.
Support and training: I will give you all the training and support you will possibly need. I will hang around the lot as long as you feel you need me to. (30 days I think should do it)
Reason to sell: Need to sell to spend more time with my family. I am forever missing my kids special activities. Dance, Softball, Baseball, Band,And a slew of activities yet to be started.
